March 8, 1945 Arrived at Camp Lucky Strike, Le Havre, France; V-E Day; May 15, 1945 Left Le Havre for Portsmouth, England, then to Boston, by boat;
June 2, 1945 Arrived home in St. Louis Park, MN; September 5, 1945 Reported to Miami Beach for rehabilitation and reassignment; End of September Assigned to Douglas AAB, Arizona; Flew B-25's; October 1945 Reported to Truax Field, WI, for separation from the Army Air Corps. Arrived home on October 30, 1945, in time for the holidays.
