Dannewitz, Gerald Arthur Age 95 of Plano, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, Illinois. He was born on October 10, 1916 in Plano, Illinois the son of Arthur and Laveda (Neff) Dannewitz. He was united in marriage on October 25, 1943 to Eleanor Celeste Moutray, and they spent the next 68 happy years of their lives together. Gerry was a loving husband, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mr. Dannewitz served his country proudly in the United States Air Force where he flew 30 missions in a B17 over Germany. He was, for many years, the owner of the Kaiser-Frazer car dealership, and later the Chrysler car dealership, both in Plano, IL. Gerry and Eleanor spent many happy hours together ballroom dancing, fishing and golfing.
