He was first assigned with Charles Schoolfield crew. Reported to the ETO on 11 Apr 1943. Shot down 14 October 1943 as Pilot in B-17 #4230199 'Wicked WAAC. ' POW at Stalag Luft 3 Sagan-Silesia Bavaria (Moved to Nuremberg-Langwasser) 49-11.
