Awarded Silver Star, 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses, and Four Air Medals. During 20 years of service held various command and staff positions at Headquarters USAAF; Caribbean Air Command, Lima Peru. Tactical Air Command, Langley, AFB. Base Commander USAF Europe, Chaumont, France.
