Born October 1920. Raised in Rochester, New York, USA. Enlisting in September 1942, Second Lieut. Miller was captured by enemy forces near Gouzon (Gonzeville ?), France, September 15, 1943, following the crash of aircraft 42-40938. Served as POW until being liberated in May, 1945. Returning to Rochester to raise a family of six, a well-respected funeral director and businessman, Edward lived a full life in the service of others until the age of eighty-seven.
