Alfred Raymond Bouley

Bouley worked for Pratt and Whitney before enlisting in February 1942



On an armed reconnaissance flight over Le Mans on 15 June 1944 Bouley's flight of P-47 Thunderbolts was bounced by FW 190 fighters. Members of his flight reported that they had last heard from Bouley when he had radioed to say he was loosing pressure, and had made an emergency landing in Grandcamp, France.



Bouley was captured and taken Prisoner of War, he was returned to Allied Control at Rennes Military Hospital.
