The ground crew of the Jackson County Fighter "In the Mood", piloted by Captain Gerald Johnson, 25 year-old P-47 Thunderbolt Fighter Pilot, share his pride in the official announcement that from films taken by his camera gun (sic) he has destroyed five enemy aircraft, and thus become the second Eighth Air Force Fighter Ace.
