Notes: A mix of 119 P-38s, 387 P-47s and 213 P-51s from 8th Air Force & 9th Air Force provide escort. IIX Fighter Command contributes 171 aircraft under 8 AF control. Bad weather prevented one P-47 group from taking off and delayed others. 352nd Fighter Group flew a mixed formation of P-47s and P-51s. Claims include 19-0-8 on the ground. Only 8th Air Force losses are included in the table.
