Notes: Weather hampered the mission and many of the bombers were recalled when they encountered a front of clouds rising to 28,000 feet. Most bombers looked for targets of opportunity. The 25th Bomb Group operating as a Recon Group is activated today. They will not participate in actual bombing missions but will fly weather recon sorties until 20-Apr-45. 1st Bomb Division was made up of 91st Bomb Group, 92nd BG, 303rd BG,305th BG, 306th BG, 351st BG, 379th BG, 381st BG, 384th BG, 398th BG, 401st BG, 457th BG.

Escort is provided by 165 P-38s, P-47s and P-51s; they claim 6-0-4 aircraft; 1 P-38 is lost (pilot is MIA).
