I am not sure what is required here. 1st Lieutenant George Phil Edwards, USAAF, 453rd Bomber Squadron, 323rd Bomber Group, was my uncle and namesake. He was a navigator of a B26 Marauder, killed in action on July 31, 1943. He is interred at Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
