[Censor no.] A printed caption was previously attached to the reverse, however this has been removed. Handwritten caption on reverse: '392 BG B-24 after mid air collision. 12/8/44.' The fireman is identified by his nephew Mr John AW Harris as Firefighter George Chapman stationed with the National Fire Service at Cheshunt, 15 miles north of London.
