Lt. Fletcher Meaders joined the 351st Fighter SQuadron/353rd Fighter Group on October 28, 1944 with fellow pilots Lts. Robert Wiehe and Raymond Hilgenberg. Meaders flew out of Raydon AF, Suffolk, England. On December 10, 1944 Meaders was involved in a crash which resulted in a broken arm and cracked spine. He would not flying again with the squadron before war's end. Meadrers was from Jacksonville, FL.
