2nd Lt Ralph Hofer's 'Salem Representative' at its most garish just after D-Day. The Mustang had olive drab paint on the wings and spine, which extended up the leading edge of the fin at this date, but which was later stripped back to the base of the tail. Also of note are Hofer's famous 'Whitewall' tyres!
