Delivered Cheyenne 13/5/44; Kearney 23/5/44; Dow Fd 30/5/44; Assigned 510BS/351BG [TU-T] Polebrook 1/6/44; 511BS [DS-F];

On Le Bouget mission 14/6/44 with Bill Raser, the ship was hit by flak on bomb bay doors and two engines out plus other damage, however Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Omer Theroux made emergency repairs to cables and allow ship to limp home and land at Tangmere, Sussex.

On Merseburg mission 29/7/44 with Mahlon Hillebrand, the aircraft was hit by flak which KO’d 2 engines; Navigator: Jim Tollerson and Sgt Warren Schact put out fire, equipment dropped to lighten ship and limped home to land at North Creek, Norfolk; Bombardier: Tom Gumaer was Killed in Action; rest Returned to Duty (RTD).

Returned to the USA Bradley 31/5/45; 4168 Base Unit, South Plains, Texas 4/6/45; Reconstruction Finance Corporation (sold for scrap metal in USA) Kingman 17/12/45.
