Initially assigned to the 78th Fighter Group, Lt. Peter W Klaassen made a belly landing at Duxford on 5th September 1944. Upon repair, this aircraft was reassigned to the 36th Fighter Group 23 Fighter Squardron and was lost on the 19th March 1945.
