42-7558 Lillian Ann

On 2/13/44 the aircraft was on a mission to bomb the V-1 launch site at Bonnieres, France. Over the target it was hit by flak which knocked out 2 engines & punctured the fuel tanks. Returning to England the aircraft made a crash-landing 5 miles west of Dover, Kent. All of the crew survived & returned to duty.
