Failed to Return (FTR) and Interned (INT)

Switzerland 7 January 1944 While on a mission to bomb the I. G. Farben chemical plant in Ludwigshafen, Germany 42-7519 was attacked by German fighters & the # 1 engine was damaged. The aircraft diverted to Switzerland where Swiss M.S.406 fighters escorted it to Dubendorf.
