Transferred from 712th BS to 714th BS between 5-18 Dec '44. Repaired at Woodbridge 25-31 Dec '44 after Hydraulic system damaged. Landed at Rackheath due to bad weather on 6 Jan '45 return. Crashed 15 Feb after dinghy released and became entangled around the tail after takeoff. Crew bailed out but pilot and co-pilot remained and were killed. Salvaged 16 Feb '45. Wreckage recovered by Norfolk And Suffolk Aviation Group in Oct '82. Flown during crash by pilot Harlyn M. Schroeder and co-pilot Delwin D. Roorda
