'PUB PETE' went MIA, Missing In Action, on a bombing mission to destroy German "V" weapons over Pas de Calais, France, with Clyde Baugher, Co-pilot: Elmer Schwankl, Bombardier: Paul Fabian, Waist gunner: Phil Marizzaldi, chute failed - 4 Killed in Action - Navigator: Charles Lee, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Albert Redwine, Radio Operator: Carter Lunsford, Ball turret gunner: Walton Beach, Waist gunner: Frank Bongiovanni, Tail gunner: Dick Chin POW.
