The B-24J, named, Mistah Chick, 42-100146, piloted by Ralph I. Leslie, was flak damaged on a mission over Europe and crash landed in Sweden. Transferred from the 564th Bomb Squadron (YO E) to the 567th Bomb Squadron (HP U) in March 1944.



Mistah Chick, was interned in Sweden after the June 20,1944 mission to Politz,Germany. All 10 crewmen and one passenger unhurt. MACR 5924. Interned 20 Jun 44, INT-SWE. MACR 5924
