Markeweg, 7722 Dalfsen, Nederland 11 September 1944 - 11 September 1944 The B24 was hit in #3 engine just before bomb run. Tried to get to base as soon as possible. On it's way back the P51 mustang Betty Lee 42-103749 was sucked in the propwash and crashed in the bombers tail. The bail out sign was given and the bomber crashed with John S. Phillips near Dalfsen the Netherlands.
