Originally assigned to 448th Bomb Group, arrived Seething, England 20 December 1943; to 389th Bomb Group, 566th Bomb Squadron by 31 December 1943, subsequently renamed The Sky Shark. Transferred to 392nd Bomb Group, 577th Bomb Squadron 12 February 1944. Shot down 24 February 1944 near Wetzlar, Germany, MACR 2945.
