Markings & paint scheme: The B-24H, 41-29191, Hello Natural, was painted in the USAAF's standard olive drab camouflage color on the top surfaces and sides of it's fuselage and engines, and on the upper surfaces of it's horizontal empennage, wings, and on both sides of it's vertical stabilizer fins. The lower surfaces of it's horizontal stabilizers, wings, fuselage, and engines, were painted in the Army's standard light gray color for sky camouflage in the ETO. The airplane's name and nose art were a picture of two dice showing a, seven, score, with part of the plane's name, "Hello", painted in letters above the dice, and the rest of it's name, "Natural", painted below the dice, on the LH forward section of the aircraft's nose. The national insignias for 1944, were white five pointed stars on blue roundels with rectangular wings on each side of the roundels surrounded by a darker blue border around the entire body of the insignias. These insignias were applied to the upper and lower surfaces of the aircraft's wings, close to the wing tips, and on both sides of the rear fuselage, just next to the waist gunner's windows. On the lower part of the outboard sides of the vertical tail fins, were the airplane's abbreviated serial numbers, 129191. Above the abbreviated serial numbers were the airplane's radio call letter, RCL, a capital, E, inside a white triangle, and above that was the airplane squadron's base code letter, a capital, I, inside a large white solid circle.

The B-24H, 41-29191, Hello Natural, was organized with 448th Bomb Group and the 712th Bomb Squadron on 6 Apr 1943 at Gowen Field near Boise, Idaho. After deployment to the U.K., the airplane was damaged in a landing accident at Seething, England, 21 Jan 1944.

After being hit by flak and losing fuel on a mission to Genshagen, Germany, near Berlin, the B-24H, 41-29191, Hello Natural, turned towards Sweden and landed at Bulltofa Airfield near Malmo, Sweden. The airplane and crew were interned. 10 INT-SWE. 6 Mar 44. MACR 3548.

The crew was released and returned, starting in July through September, 1944. The aircraft was returned to the U.S. in 1945.
