Delivered Denver 14/10/43; Gr Island 26/10/43; Assigned 333BS/94BG [TS-R] Rougham 14/12/43; Missing in Action Poznan 11/4/44 with Henry Churchwell, Co-pilot: Henry Jones, Navigator: George Skelton, Bombardier: Jim Stone, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Bob Fellure, Radio Operator: Peter Dewolf, Ball turret gunner: Jim Caldwell, Waist gunner: Bill Wolf, Waist gunner: Lloyd Pearsall, Tail gunner: Bill Arck (10 Prisoner of War); flak KO’d #1 near Stettin, then enemy aircraft attack KO’d two more engines, crashed Nemitz, 10 miles SE of Cammin, Pomerania, Ger. Crew captured by German half-track without a shot being fired! Missing Air Crew Report 3861. DOG TIRED.
