Delivered RAF [AN519] as part of Lend-Lease Act; 90 Squadron (WP-H) Polebrook, UK 3-Jun-41; transferred AAEE Boscombe Down 20-Aug-41; first B-17 to bomb Germany (with RAF) 20-Dec-41; transferred to 206 Squadron, Benbecula 16-Jul-42; 59 Squadron [ -V] Thorney Is 28-Dec-42, used as a hack until posted to 1 OTU Thornaby 1-Oct-43; Missing in Action Oslo 12-Dec-43 with RAF. Salvaged 14-Aug-44
