This crew picture appears to be infront of a Douglas Long Beach built aircraft, not the subject Boeing. Both the nose and #3 cowl have Long Beach underside demarcations.

Osborne identifies Shackeroo II and WACKEROO II as the Douglas B-17F-45-DL, 42 -3319 of the 94th BG ( XM☆ A2). That a/c is entirely consistent with image here. Recommend the photo be associated with crew, if appropriate, but disassociated from Boeing 42-29708.
