P-47D-22-RE with its new name and new individual letter. Previously assigned to pilot Floyd F. Blair when it had the individual letter 'T' and its name was "Ramblin Wreck". Lt. Simon collided with Lt. Brownlee while attacking a German airfield at Lippe on 14 March 1945 and flying this P-47.

Assigned to pilot Lt. Floyd F. Blair in May 1944 while at Winkton in England ; individual identifying letter of this P-47 was the letter 'T'. Name of the aircraft (written below the cockpit) : "Ramblin Wreck".
Floyd Blair was assigned a new P-47D-28-RA 229289 in December 1944. His new P-47 received the individual letter 'T'. Therefore, the 225993 received the individual letter 'N' and a new name : "Janie".
