Assigned to Milton Jaeger. Lost on a fighter sweep over Tours on 31 July 1944 with pilot Donald Erickson. A faulty fuse caused the bomb to explode when Erickson attempted to release it to attack a gas truck, causing the aircraft to set alight. Erickson baled out of the aircraft at low level and died as a result of his parachute failing to open.
