Aircraft was assigned as a airborne spare, when it was clear the formation was complete, the crew returned to base.
On landing the aircraft left the runway in an uncontrolled fashion, turning side-wise. The momentum caused the left main and nose gear to collapse. The left gear collapsed when the attachment fittings in the nacelle were pulled out.
Investigation found on take-off, right main tire ran over a sharp flint rock, shredding the tire.
Engine #1 & 2, propellers, damaged, fuselage fractures aft of the wing
