Changed date of crash as while Jeff Kolln claims in Northrop's night fighters the aircraft crashed on 24 Oct, then was written off 3 days later, there are several sources which dispute this.
Joe Baugher' gives the date of 27 Oct and describes the crash as "fatal", this chimes with the death dates on the headstones of Bruce Heflin and William Broach
