44-40112 Flak Happy

Flak Happy crashed in Sweden on 20 June 1944 on a mission to Politz, after being hit by enemy fire.



Pilot Nicholas Kehoe ordered his crew to bail out of the aircraft, and safely conducted a forced landing near Trelleborg, Sweden. Kehoe was picked up by a local farmer.
