media-36848.jpeg UPL 36848 B-17G 43-38014 of the 305th BG, 422nd Sqd. was hit over Merseburg, Germany by flak. Radio operator reported smoke coming into the cabin but the source was not found. After safely landing and debriefing, ground crew called the aircrew over to show them flak damage above.
