My name is Robert (Bob) Donovan, youngest son of Capt. Philip R Donovan, 96th BG / 339 Sq - 8th Air Force 1943 & 1944. My father passed in May of 2000 and never really talked about things too much. I do have some pictures that I will share here, and a story as reported from my dad's tail gunner (now deceased) and printed in a newspaper in the 40's. I am looking for more information on my father's tour of duty, his plane(s), his crews, and his missions. ANYONE that can help, please contact me.
