I am a 69 year old pensioner living in Suffolk in the UK. In my twenties and thirties I researched extensively the site of a crashed B-17g which came down in my village of Chelsworth in 1944 and on the very day that my parents got married. Later on I succeeded in positively identifying the aircraft with the help of military historian Geoff Rice. I have a large collection of documents from my research as well as a lot of metal fragments found using a metal detector. I would be very willing to pass on any details that I think may be of use to this website.
