My father, W C Edwards, Jr, was a bombardier in the 92nd BG, 326 BS in Podington in 1944-45. I grew up in Europe in the late '50s where my father was stationed during his career in the US Air Force. I've visited Podington and the airfield while in the UK on business trips.
