My first cousin, TSgt. Robert Martin Dawson, served as a belly gunner on the B-17 Judy. He completed 25 combat missions with the 379th BG, 527th Bomb Squadron. Tail number of aircraft was 42-9963 I am a USAF retiree, serving from Nov 1971 until July 2000.
