1 Apr 2024 - My father was S/Sgt. Jesse D. Cory, a B-17 electrical specialist at RAF Deopham Green airfield until the end of the war in the European Theatre.  He returned home to farm in Ohio.  I now own the farm and live there.  I am retired from banking and business, and do genealogy research as a hobby.  I have Dad's original map of the Deopham Green airfield, as well as the original written orders dated 19 June 1945 for the return of B-17G S/N 43-39143 to Bradley Field, Connecticut, including the names and addresses of all the crew and passengers.  It is in very fragile condition, but I hope to post it soon.
