Dad gives me a small box more than 40 years ago. It contained medals, pictures, and a diary. After a chance visit to The Mighty Eighth Museum in Pooler, Georgia, the box and dad’s story began to materialize. After researching the Eighth Air Force, (in particular his bomber group the 446th) and watching this clip https://youtu.be/sBy_FIlcOJs I finally “got” what he and others did. What a thrill it’s been to assemble the puzzle pieces. Your museum is on my bucket list!
