I am Martin Merenda, son in-law to S/Sgt. Russell T. Hatchett "Tom" Ball Turret Gunner who served on B-17 Ol'Scrapiron AC# 42-31582. Assigned to 447th Bomb group 711 squadron, based in Rattlesden. My wife & I have his Diary, photos, listing of missions and an audio interview with Tom prior to his death on 15-Aug-2001. We would like to donate copies of this WWII experience to the AAM.
