Bio

BSBS from University of Arkansas Degree in Marketing and minor in history. Pilot for 46 years, I am also a past National Champion in Aerobatics. Have done extensive research on the July 2nd 1944 mission of 15th Air Force on which my Great Uncle was KIA and am contemplating a book on that air battle. In the research I learned of the 4th Fighter Groups involvement and one of their famous pilots was from my hometown. In 2002 we attempted to get the new airport named after him. We were unsuccessful in that, but were able to get the street to the airport named after him. I have given a great deal of information to the Fort Smith Air Museum and they have kiosks at the Fort Smith on both my Great Uncle 2lt Lawrence Whittaker and Maj Pierce W. McKennon. I also have a copy of McKennon's logbook.
