My father was Sgt Barney Stemp [39 190 614] I am trying to find out more about him from a variety of sources. He passed in March 1980 from complications associated with a blow to the head in the same location where he was injured in 1944. His ashes were scattered over the North Sea by Major Paul Dembrowsk, USAF in July 1980.
