US Navy veteran 1985-1993 AO2 (AW). Researcher of WWII/Korean War US Military aviation specializing in fighter pilots/aircrcraft/units. Have contributed to over 50 books and hundreds of magazine articles. My photo collection numbers in the tens of thousands and reams of documents. I've also participated in the restoration/maintainence/operation of a number of WWII era aircraft.
