Unit
Established as 2915th Combat Crew Replacement Center Group on 1 October 1943 at Cluntoe to provide additional source training to B-17 Flying Fortress replacement crews.
Redesignated No 4 Combat Crew Replacement Center on 23 November 1943.
After training 57 crews, the unit transferred to Cheddington on 28 February 1944, without personnel and equipment, and absorbed personnel and equipment formerly of No 2 CCRC.
Disbanded on 5 October 1944
