Control tower dedicated to the memory of the 94th and 322nd Bomb Groups. Memorial plaques surround the main memorial, which is topped by the propeller of B17 "Hello Mr Maier," fished out of the north sea.

As 1st Lieutenant, "Al" Algorri served as Navigator on B-17 I'ce Cold Katie', completing 35 missions from June to December 1944. After the war, he went on to serve in Korea and Vietnam, moving up to a rank of Lt Colonel.
