Detailed History
There is a memorial stone in the churchyard. Besides this, the church holds a United States flag that originally flew over the base at Griston/Watton. Members of the base used the church; there was even a US Servicemen's choir, which toured the area. There are photos of the men using the church, and two Altar Frontals donated by the servicemen. Also, something which seems to be unique: a covenant signed by over 100 men, titled "The Soldiers United Christian Church." The church is locked, arrangements can be made with the church wardens for entry.
