Isaac Abeyta

ETO/ Queen Mary 9/5/42. Home/ Queen Mary 6/16/45.
Flew on Ploesti raid 1 Aug '43. 1 October 1943, in ac B-24 41-23936 'Queen Anne' was attacked by fighters on bombing run on Wiener, Austria. Abeyta was one of 2 crew members who bailed out near Vienna to become Prisoner of War (POW)s. He was a POW at STALAG 17 This unit was on temporary duty with the 9th AAC.
