Henry C Scott
Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) 25 February 1945 in AC #4415280. Lt. Scott's aircraft was apparently hit by flak during a strafing pass on enemy territory on 25 February 1945. He reported no oil pressure and headed west, climbing to 4,000 feet. His aircraft was smoking but not on fire. He jettisoned his canopy as if in preparation to bail out, then started gliding down to a small field for a belly landing. The aircraft struck the ground at about a 20' dive, exploding as it struck.
