English Channel, 40 miles due west of The Hague 12 August 1944 Expertly ditched B-24H #41-29413 "Our Baby" in the English Channel allowing all 10 crew to successfully escape the sinking a/c. Unfortunately the co-pilot and radio operator drifted away from the rest of the group before they could be rescued.
