Killed in service. Aircraft B-26-15-MA 41-34957 'Stingray' encountered oil cooler problems and pilot was forced to feather an engine. Lost attitude and forced to ditch in Atlantic near Iceland. Appears plane and crew was on its way to join the 8th with a June 3 report date. 386th BG was part of the 8th BG from July-October 1943
