The Marietta Legion, Marietta, MN where Harm was from, is planning on honoring him and his brother 2nd Lt. George Ralph Beninga, Bombardier, and Lt. Dietrich Schmidt of the Army National Guard, who was allegedly injured in a maneuver near England, but died from his injuries after he was transferred to the US. All were residents of Marietta. Dietrich Schmidt and George Beninga attended basic training together before George Beninga transferred to the air force.
